Several viewers noticed a dishevelled and unshaven figure slumped on the Labour benches behind Kevin Madge at this week's council meeting, including it seems the South Wales Guardian:



Of course, it may just be that Calum had been up all night reading council reports, and that the sweat dripping from his brow was brought about by the anguish he must have felt as he plunged a dagger between Kev's shoulder blades in the schools debate.

In the meantime, he has resigned his seat on the Appeals Committee, where he was vice chair. Luckily that did not come with extra pay, and so he will be able to continue to pick up all of his various allowances.
